Tammany Hall

If you took an AP American History class in high school, one of the topics was the rise of political machines in the major cities of the United States. New York City’s political machine was known as Tammany Hall; its most notorious period was under the man known as Boss Tweed. While the machine is dead today, the former headquarters for Tammany Hall is alive and well–as the campus for a film school. I wrote about the former headquarters for Tammany Hall over at Untapped Cities. Check it out!
